Choosing kit for a women's hockey team
Skorts vs shorts
A skort is a short with a fitted overlay panel, giving the look of a skirt with the freedom of a short. Most women's clubs offer both and let each player choose — because both are produced from the same artwork, offering the choice costs the club nothing in design and avoids anyone feeling forced into a style.
Fit and sizing
Shirts are available in fits suited to women's and girls' squads, and we supply a full size guide before ordering. If your club uses a Hackin club shop, each player picks her own size at checkout, which is by far the most accurate way to size a squad.
Matching the men's and mixed teams
Many clubs want the women's, men's, mixed and junior teams visually identical. We build one master artwork and apply it across shirts, shorts and skorts so every squad in the club matches on a Saturday.
Numbering and names
Squad numbers and player names are sublimated in as standard. Tell us at design stage if your league specifies number size or placement and we'll lay it out accordingly.
Growing sections
Women's and girls' hockey sections often grow mid-season. Your artwork stays on file permanently, so a new player can order a single matching shirt and skort at any time with no minimum order.
